How does the air conditioning work?

The remote controls for the air conditioners in the two bedrooms are located next to the TV..

In summer set the temperature >26°C

In winter set the temperature <20°C

⚠️ Please note: the air conditioners do not operate when the windows are open and will automatically switch off when the temperature reaches the limit permitted for the relevant climate zone (Zone D). (Please also see the "House Rules" section).

Please remember to switch the air conditioners off when you leave the apartment. When you return, the room will be comfortably cooled or heated again within a few minutes.

How do I turn on the heating?

The thermostat for the radiators is located in the living room.

To set a temperature higher than the "current room temperature" press 🔺 or🔻

In winter set the temperature <20°C

⚠️ Please note: the thermostat has a pre-programmed automatic schedule for different times of the day. The temperature settings comply with the limits permitted for the relevant climate zone (Zone D). Please also see the "House Rules" section.

Please remember to switch the heating off when you leave the apartment. When you return, the room will be comfortably heated again within a few minutes.

How do I use the shower?

The water flow is controlled using the controls on the left.

The water temperature is adjusted using the controls on the right.

When left in its default position, the temperature is set to 38°C.

Please allow a few minutes for the hot water to reach the shower.

Water pressure may vary depending on simultaneous water usage. Hot water is available in limited quantities, so please use it responsibly.

Can I drink the tap water?

We recommend NOT drinking the tap water.

It is perfectly safe to use for washing and cooking, but we suggest that you drink bottled water instead

How do I use the TV?

The TV in the living room is available in Italian only. Please watch the video ➡️ or follow the instructions below.

Turning the TV on

Press the large power button located on the upper edge of the TV, in the centre.
Press the power button on the decoder remote control, located next to the TV.
Wait approximately 10 seconds.
Use the decoder remote control only to change channels and adjust the volume.

Turning the TV off

Follow the same procedure in reverse:

Press the power button on the decoder remote control.
Press the large power button on the upper edge of the TV

What should I do if the smoke/CO alarm goes off?

Stay calm.
